Why I love REAL Broker

I’ve had more than a few conversation conversations lately about @realbrokerage, why I made the move ~1.5 years ago and whether I’m happy there. So here’s my honest take.🤍

Something I’ve learned over a decade in tech, and again in real estate, is that people don’t stay for a name. They stay for the experience, the relationships and the results.

When I got licensed, I joined well-known brokerages thinking the names would bring credibility. But overtime, I realized the most valuable thing I could do was build a brand and reputation on my own. My business grew through the experience I delivered, the relationships I built and clients who sent their friends.

Today, my business is largely referral based, and a track record I’m really proud of. I’ve also learned a lot along the way, one of the things I genuinely love is sharing what works, mentoring other agents and helping them build businesses that feel true to who they are. There’s no one size fits all playbook. Your business should fit your life, not the other way around.

As my business grew, I started thinking differently about what I needed from a brokerage. I wanted to invest more into my own brand, not borrowed credibility from someone else’s by association.
